Yes. There is street parking available.

How do you handle a patient with an extreme dental phobia?

With an empathetic ear and a gentle touch. We are here to improve your health and smile. We take time to educate our patients of the rationale of the needed treatment and the process involved. We believe the more educated our patients are, the more likely they know what to expect. This will help decrease your anxiety. There are medications, i.e. anesthetics, that we use so that you will not feel anything, and other medications can be used to decrease your anxiety, e.g. nitrous oxide. We also encourage our patients to bring in ipods, walkmen, or other distraction devices to muffle any noises that can be bothersome during your appointment.

Where are you located?

We are located in Lincoln Park at 1439 W. Fullerton Ave .

Yes. We offer and recommend flouride treatments for adults.

Do you see patients that are children?

Yes. Our patients include both adults and children.

Can I get just a cleaning without an exam or x-rays?

No. Illinois law requires that all new patients be seen by a dentist unless you are already a patient of record in our office and have been seen within a year. Routine dental exams are important to maintaing a patient's dental health. Semi-annual exams and annual X-rays are tools that will help us detect and treat problems such as cavities, gum disease and oral cancer.

Why are dental x-rays important?

Dental x-rays allow us to see things about your oral health that cannot be seen with the naked eye. These items include invisible decay between teeth and underneath fillings, periodontal disease, cysts, cancerous and non-cancerous tumors, and the location of teeth beneath the gums. By using x-rays we can practice interventional, preventative dentistry treating small health problems before they become serious. Modern dental x-rays are very safe. Advances in technology, such as digital x-rays, use 87% less radiation than conventional means.
